A fog bound airfield did not stop useful activities around the club house.  As the woodburner slowly fired up, Alan Carter got to work mending a hole in the floor while Ged, Martin, Chris, Karon and myself moved an impressive pile of wood into a useful storage area at the back of the club house to dry out.
And today we will be flying at 1 foot.
Don gave some very useful training in the simulator to Alan and his son, Andrew and then re-lived his youth by demonstrating ridge soaring at Talgarth.

Safety Officer Ged has obviously removed his PPE for photogtaphic purposes
Meanwhile Ged found the chainsaw and we moved some more wood after lunch.
The day ended nicely with some tasty mulled wine, courtesy of Karon, and mince pies warmed on the stove.

Mulled wine and mince pies anyone?
