Wet and windy to start, David Jesty spent the morning muttering at the simulator while fixing up the trim. Meanwhile I made him fresh coffee using freshly boiled water from the woodburner---now that's what we call living.

Two batches of cadets arrived for their simulator and theoretical training, they all practised co-ordinated turns and they all made credible landings. We are now quite sure the simulator will shorten the practical training time.

 The cadets went home and we retired to the woodburner for a quiet beer---a great day.
