The day started with first flight of the day by Dave Dowton to the backdrop
of grey clouds with a cloud base that never increased above 1000 feet.

There was a short soaring flight for Heather Horsewell with myself and a rear
seat practice flight for Steve Raine . New member David Wescott continued
training with Gordon .

After a total of 9 launches the cloud base was down to around 600 feet so we
returned to the clubhouse for a lecture of Threat and error management.
